This week marks the first time I've gotten a break since January, when I began my Masters program. I've crammed in twenty one hours of credits in the past nine months, which is much tougher at the graduate level, believe me. I’ve had many a late night, a great deal of frustration, and even a few tears shed but now that I’ve gotten to this point that I’ve been working so hard for…my internship.
Since I’m getting my Master’s Degree as well as teacher licensure through this program, my student teaching process is a bit different than most. They call it an internship and I will be spending the first semester in a middle school and second semester in a high school. Or vice versa. I’m still waiting for the finalized details. Either way, I’m a big bundle of excitement and nervousness trying to get prepared for this adventure.
So finally I've got two short weeks to relax, try to attend to the mountain of laundry that built up over the summer, and get my home and brain organized before school starts.
